I love myself a good romance. Seriously. At first, they were like guilty pleasures that I wouldn’t talk about. I don’t even know why. But now I am loud and proud and will support this genre until the end of time.
My latest read was The Unhoneymooners. I bought this a while back at Powell’s, and somehow forgot about it? Luckily, it came during a time of need (that time of the month, day 2), and I couldn’t have been more grateful.
This book was a banger. We’ve got our protagonist, Olive, who describes herself as the lesser twin of her sister, Ami. Ami is getting married to Dane, and Dane has a brother, Ethan, who nobody likes. On the wedding day, everyone gets food poisoning except for…. you guessed it….Ethan and Olive. They go on the honeymoon together oooh la la the rest is history.
So fun, so cute, 10/10 recommend. It was a great quick read and I loved every second of it.
